PHAM DUY “Folk Songs of Vietnam” LP (Folkways, 1968/ORIGINAL!!)
A mix of regional, minority, historical, and modern folk songs from Vietnam sung by famous guitarist and singer Pham Duy together with Phung Oanh, Pham Thuy Hoan, Quynh Hanh, and others. On some tracks, there is a nice mix of guitar and native zither-like instruments, as you can hear in the sound clip below. Quite a cool and unique LP!

Condition: Record is VG+ to VG with the exception of one short passage (~40 seconds) at the end of side A where a spot of paint (?) causes loud pops and a small skip. You can hear that section in middle of the above soundclip, and see the spot in the photos. The sleeve is VG-, with a sticker on the front and seam splits on both top and bottom (larger on the bottom; see photos).
Terms (Please read carefully): Payment is due within THREE (3) DAYS via Paypal – no exceptions. Buyer pays shipping. **NOTE TO NON-USA BIDDERS: I will only ship outside of the USA using E-bay’s Global Shipping Program, as this protects buyer and seller from loss, damage, etc. This program entails extra fees for international tracking, customs, etc., which results in a high shipping cost. These fees are not set by me (as the seller, I don’t even get to see them), I don’t make any money off of them, and they are NOT NEGOTIABLE. Also, E-bay’s Global Shipping Program does not allow auction wins to be combined into one shipment. This means that if you win more than one auction for me, I will not be able to give you a combined shipping price, but will have to ship each item separately in its own box. If you win more than one item, please pay for each separately.
NOTE: I recently (5/13/2016) spoke with E-bay customer service, who verified that for some items the GSP system has a glitch which allows the bidder to combine multiple items into one order, even though this is explicitly forbidden under the GSP terms. Please do not do this, as it creates problems for me when I have to print out labels for the packages (sometimes E-bay does not allow me to print out the necessary number of labels). If you live outside of the USA and combine orders at the time of payment, I reserve the right to cancel the transaction if it causes problems. Please pay for each item separately!**
