Kings (Queens?) of "Sex, Glam, Gloom" music, Pharoah, with their bicolor hair and outrageous show (from New Jersey), caused quite a stir on the club circuit back when they were together. Even though their run on the circuit was somewhat short, today there are still a lot of calls on Facebook for them to reunite and perform in the personas that made them so unique back in the 80s.
I'm not sure what the total production run of this record was, but it is safe to say that it's rare! Definitely, this is a collectors' item.
This EP (or short album, if you want to call it that) contains "First Strike", "Red Flag", "Terrorist", "Dark October", "Fight as One", and "Enemy". These are some pretty catchy tunes even with their deep (sometimes blstsntly risque - at least for the 80s!) lyrics and heavy political themes. (Personal note: Being the engineer/producer on this album, I can honestly state that I have NOT forgotten any of these tunes, or the band, thirty years later!) These guys were talented and really had their image and musical act together.
The disc, sleeve, and inner sleeve are both in NM condition.
