This is a 1970 USA/ France Stereo 1st  pressing LP in very nice overall condition! The sleeve is printed in the USA, the vinyl is manufactured in France. All French "Impulse" LP's were issued with a U.S. pressed sleeve at the time. This LP was not issued in the UK at the time.

As stated, this LP has a heavyweight front laminated gatefold sleeve. This has the "A Product Of ABC Records, INC., 8255 Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles, Calif. 90048/ 1330 Avenue Of The Americas, New York N.Y. 10019/ Made in USA" text printed on the rear sleeve. It comes with its original generic polythene lined company plain paper inner sleeve.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has red "Impulse" labels which have a black rim. These have four Impulse logos on them. The labels have "Made In France" printed on them. There are two sets of matrix numbers machine stamped in the dead wax. These are:

Side 1: AS 9190 A  21 and M6 271836
Side 2: AS 9190 B  21 and M6 271837

Gatefold Sleeve: There is some more moderate rubbing wear at the top corner tip of the spine. There is mild or very mild rubbing wear to the other three corner tips. There is some light, mild or very mild hairline rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. This is mainly on the rear sleeve opening edge. There is some light or very mild fading, to a varying degree, on the inner gatefold. There is mild fading to the red area of the spine. There is some light, mild or more moderate hairline rubbing wear, on some areas, on the spine edge on the rear sleeve. Otherwise, the spine is okay. The spine text is completely legible (see photo). There is a 3.5 cm area of mild to more moderate hairline rubbing wear on the inner gatefold (see photo). This is at the centre spine area. There is some light, very mild or very minor hairline rubbing wear on the top edges on a very few areas. There is some light, very mild or very minor ruigwear of some areas. This is mainly on the rear sleeve. There are no seam splits anywhere on the sleeve. Overall, Very Good++ condition.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. These are mainly on Side 2. Side 1 is in a strong Excellent condition. Side 2 is in Very Good+ condition.  Overall,Very Good++ condition. The labels are in Excellent+ condition and show minimal spindle wear only.

The original polythene lined company paper inner sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have play tested this LP in its entirety & it plays Very Near Excellent to Excellent overall, & Excellent+ in many places. There is some light, very mild or very minor crackle in a few quieter places. There are two very mild clicks on Side 2. There are no other clicks or pops. Overall, a great audio copy!

I shall place the vinyl into a separate plain paper inner sleeve. This will protect the original inner sleeve from any damage during the shipping process.

    >>  Grading Information  All grading is very strict & adheres to 'Record Collector' specifications. However, I have fine tuned them & they are explained below. All vinyl is examined closely under a strong light & play tested.

MINT Condition = A perfect copy! Almost impossible to find like this. 

NEAR MINT Condition = Very nearly mint just slightly under, There may be a very few, very light paper surface sleeve rubs that can hardly be seen under strong light. This disc has been played a couple of times at most. The sleeve is virtually perfect - there is very minimal wear only.

EXCELLENT Condition = A clean & tidy copy that shows minimal defects. There will be light, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs. There will be no scratches. The cover will be very nice & clean with maybe minimal creasing, ringwear or edge rubbing wear etc...

NEAR EXCELLENT Condition = You can tell this record has been played a few times, but it has been well cared for. There will be minor surface marks only. The sleeve may have light, mild or very mild creasing,ringwear & very mild rubbing wear to the edges etc.... Overall, it will be a very serviceable copy that you will be pleased with.

Very Good Condition = A well played but very decent overall copy. There will be a few marks on the vinyl, but they won't be nasty scratches, just relatively light needle scuffs and sleeve removal marks, they will be noticeable but won't detract from play too much. Cover will show signs of storage/ ageing, e.g., creasing, slight folding, spinewear, ringwear or sticker tears etc... The record will not be trashed!!

Please note that I also use "+" or "-" symbols for this grading. A plus symbol is obviously at the top end of "Very Good" & is really not far from being in "near excellent" condition. The minus symbol obviously means it is at the lower end. This will mean that it is near to being in "Good+" condition.

Double LPs are classed as two LPs. Also gatefold sleeves, posters, inserts, etc.. can increase postage costs.

Please note that there are VAT import charges from the UK into all EU countries. Anything under 150 Euros will need an IOSS number. VAT is paid at point of sale. For any items over 150 Euros in value. There will be a customs charge too. These vary, I believe, from country to country. Please check your relevant postal service online for details. Please note that these charges are beyond my control and are the law for outside parcels going into the EU.

All records will be sent in high quality vinyl box/ mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7" Single. I use a cruciform box for larger orders (3-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.

I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).

I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £1.50. I am not adding any further costs for handling, etc...
