Description

This record has been fully listened to and professionally cleaned. It will be supplied with a quality anti static inner sleeve and poly outer sleeve for your album’s protection. We use quality Lil record mailers for full protection during transit.

This is an extremely rare steel band/reggae genre vinyl album, pressed on the Straker Records label, which is a prolific Caribbean label started by Granville Striker and based in Brooklyn, NY. The year of release is unknown.

Both sides are in excellent condition with very few marks or hairlines from previous play. There is a flat unfeelable surface mark, probably made during production which has no effect on play or sound quality which was excellent throughout, with no jumps or clicks. There was some crackle but this was not excessive and sound quality was nonetheless excellent.

The outer sleeve is in VG condition with overall creasing, ringmarks and scuffing from use and storage - please see our photos.

I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.

I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.

All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.

The vinyl is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve, the whole album placed into a protective outer plastic sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.

All items posted will require a signature to ensure safe delivery, regardless of stated postage costs. If shipping abroad this is in accordance with the Ebay Global Shipping Programme.
