PHIL JONES & THE UNKNOWN BLUES "IF I HAD A TICKET" EP: IF I HAD A TICKET/ COMIN' HOME BABY/ SIT DOWN SERVANT/ 300LB OF JOY. FESTIVAL FX-11,317.
Such a rare EP these days. Sydney band from 1967. 'If I had a ticket' is a classic. And 'Comin' home baby' is a great SF rock sound. Guitar/ organ etc. And '300lb of joy' is the Willie Dixon penned track made famous by the mighty Howlin Wolf. Phil went on to become part of the band Quintessence under the name of 'Shiva'. The cover is nice, glossy, but it does have some laminate creasing on the front, and creasing on the back. The labels are clean. The vinyl is good. A little crackle at run in. A few light lines/marks. So VG+. Hardly ever turns up these days.
