This has NEVER been played
Stored away by a record company executive for over 40 years,it has remained untouched by human hand since..
I defy anyone to find a better copy than this,it really is in superb condition!
I am coming to the end of the UNPLAYED Jazz albums and will be starting on a selection of classical records (AGAIN UNPLAYED!) later in the week..

Issued on Verve in 1968..SVLP 9220..STEREO..UK pressing..It has A1/B1 matrix numbers and is a first press..(The stampers are 1G whic means that it was one of the first copies off the press!)
The sleeve (front laminated with full flipbacks and made by Garrod And Lofthouse),easily grades as EX++..It has the slightset wear to the edges of the flipbacks......Most dealers would not even bother to mention this,but I like to point out ANYTHING that may be construed as a defect (after all,I can see this sleeve,you can't and you have to go by my description and pictures!)..
The colours are bright and unfaded,the spine is undamaged,the edges are straight,the corners square with only minimal wear and there is no rubbing to the edges..
There are NO Seam splits,rips,tears,sellotape,tape marks,scribble or writing...
Visually,the disc grades as MINT..There are NO scratches,scuffs or other marks and it is still super clean and shiney..
I normally play grade every album that I offer for sale..Even a record that looks perfect may have been played on a chipped stylus and the ONLY way to verify sound quality is to play grade..Guessing that a record plays fine is not good enough when selling on the internet!!..In this case I have not play graded as I KNOW that this has never been played and I would like to leave the honour of first play to the winner!..
The labels are as new and there is NO spindle wear to the centre holes..
