Visible scuffs and wear but plays very well with some normal surface noise.
I gave it a good cleaning and played the LP…there was a skip on track 7 of side one, “Ebb Tide” by the Righteous Brothers. Otherwise, sounds GREAT!

Only a handful of these promotional only compilations were released, even less survive today. This LP was planned as the second issue of Spector's work on Apple, after Phil Spector's Christmas Album, but never materialized. The few that made it out of Spector's hands, his associates', and his family's were released with this letter:

"Over the years, I've received requests for many of the original single recordings that I produced when I actively ran Philles Records ----- featuring such artists as the Righteous Brothers, the Ronettes, the Crystals, Ike and Tina Turner, Darlene Love, and Bob B. Soxx and the Blue Jeans.

"Because so many of these recordings are practically impossible to obtain, and because a vast majority of the requests were from people in the field of broadcasting who have been kind enough to ask and who made these records successful in the beginning, I've put together 18 of these best-selling and most requested original recordings on this one album for programming purposes only and not for sale or any other distribution at this time.

"I would like to thank those of you who still think of these recordings, and should you wish to program any of them, I do hope they bring some pleasure and happy memories to you and your listeners.
