Description

FOR SALE is the very rare 1968 issue of "PHILIP LARKIN readsTHE LESS DECEIVED-on the  LISTEN LABEL 1968....The recording was executed by George Hartley who also created the photographic cover designs on both the earlier 1958 issue (recently sold on ebay for over £220)and edited both issues and this almost as rare 1968 reissue..interestingly on this re-issue there is an intelligent copyright  in-depth interview with Philip Larkin.(C68)...THis is LPV6 on the rarely seen Listen label Record shows some very minor needle marks ,looks clean and Id say EXC- condition ..Cover is about the same condition EXC and it is interesting to compare the original 58 design and this 68 design....***I must at this point apologise for ebays draconian removal of this item from sale last week-something to do with asking for the small premium to cover paypal (ebay ) fees!  I prefer Cheque payment if possible please ..otherwise Cash,PO, Travellers cheques also..I do accept other online payments by arrangement..Questions welcome! Check out my other items for more rare spoken word offerings!
