Condizioni : la copertina presenta una sottile fessura di circa 5 centimetri lungo bordo superiore destro con inizio dalla sua estremità. Inoltre sono visibili lievi increspature sugli angoli; grande stato, EX / Obi e inserto sono in perfetto stato / il vinile appare come nuovo al di là di pochi insignificanti segnetti estetici da contatto con la copertina interna. Ascolto senza difetto alcuno; grande stato, NEAR MINT

Condition : the cover has a seam split of about 5 cm along top right edge starting from its end. In addition there are some minor creases on the corners, EX / Obi and insert are in perfect condition / vinyl looks as new although few cosmetic rubs which do not affect at all listening, NEAR MINT

 GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : la bella colonna sonora di Sarde è interamente eseguita da Stan Getz con il supporto quattro musicisti jazz: l'Irlandese Rick Laird al basso, l'Americano Andy LaVerne al piano, il Portoricano Efrain Toro alle percussioni e l'Americano Billy Hart alla batteria. Nei brani spesso c'è il coinvolgimento della London Symphony Orchestra diretta da Carlo Savina. Blues in particolare ma anche cool jazz escono dal caldo suono del sassofonista. Un tardo film noir ma ancora pieno di fascino e avvolto in atmosfere tenebrose e drammatiche dai dialoghi e dall'azione quasi rallentata. Così le ritmiche dei brani hanno uno sviluppo moderato o addirittura lento ma non per questo la musica perde affatto la sua bellezza, tutt'altro! Il magnifico suono del sax tenore penetra nella testa e qualcosa nel tempo forse ci rimarrà. Stan Getz è stato realmente una grande stella del jazz.

I titoli dei dodici brani con la loro durata così come i nomi dei musicisti possono esser letti guardando una porzione dell’inserto raffigurata nella scansione n° 4.

Notes : the beautiful soundtrack by Sarde is entirely performed by Stan Getz with the support of four jazz musicians: the Irish Rick Laird on bass, the American Andy LaVerne at the piano, the Puerto Rican Efrain Toro on percussion and American Billy Hart on drums. In the pieces often there is the involvement of the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Carlo Savina. Mainly blues but also cool jazz come out by warm sound of the saxophonist. A neo-noir film but still full of charm and shrouded in dark and dramatic atmospheres with dialogues and action almost slowed. So the rhythm of the tracks have a moderate or slow development but the music does not lose at all its beauty - far from it! The magnificent sound of the tenor sax permeates into the head and maybe something still will remain to us. Stan Getz was really a big star of jazz.
