Artist: Lourdes Borromeo with Borromeo Lou's Orchestra
Tracks: Uala Guid Sing Kalipay / Dalaga Sa Barrio Sa Naga

More extremely uncommon Filipino music, from ca. 1930 or so, on this rare Odeon series - possibly recorded in Cebu City. Lourdes Borromeo sings "Uala Guid" which is a "balitao" (peasant song) on the one side, and a song from Cebu on the other. Borromeo sings in a light operatic style, with kind of a rusty orchestra backing her.

Condition: EE+ / EE- (beautiful, save for 1 long but light scratch on "Dalaga"
