Today I decided to make available this early original beautifully pressed, packaged and recorded Greek Pressing Lp on very thick, heavy, rigid vinyl with blue and silver PHILIPS Label #630 123 PL. Called: 12 TRAGOUDIA AGAPIS TOU MIMI PLESSA TRAGOUDA N KETI HRISOLORA. There are 12 performances (see close up photos for titles and artists etc). I listened to each side of this intimate, new wave Greek Jazz, lp the vocals are absolutely beautiful, the music is captivating. Years ago I owned a very high end audio system with a Sota vacuum turntable, huge ribbon speakers and big Krell Amps , I would have loved to have graced my system with such high quality nicely performed and recorded Greek pressing lps like these. These thick vinyl originals on Philips were meticulously produced, and they sound glorious. All print on cover and labels is in Greek. I translated to English a few words, hopefully I got them right. (see back cover close ups). The cover is quite attractive with its red photo and graphics, the photo is of 2 ancient statues facing each other, the back has notes, song titles, etc. Seams and spine have NO splitting, or bad wear, corners are nice and not bent or pushed in, also NO tears, ring wear, stickers, fading, etc, does have light wear, faint browning, a very tiny browning spot and previous owners name stamped in blue top right corner all on back, front is beautiful. It is getting oh so tough to find rare original gems like this.to find them in this condition is extremely hard to impossible. The lp has brilliant labels NO spindle marks, stains, stickers, wear, etc. Both labels are the same shade with the same bright silver print. my photos are not the best, both labels look much better in person. Playing surfaces have a deep mirror like shine. NO Groove wear, scratches, defects, warps, stains, etc. only under the closest inspection could I see just a few extremly light surface scuffs that do not affect play. Both sides sound crystal clear with NO distortion or background noise of any kind. This is another lp from a hardly played collection of original Greek pressing and some U.S. lps, the owner of this collection was a former radio station and record company employee.many of his lps were never played. He was able to acquire some of the very rarest Greek lps. It is a joy when I get the opportunity to unearth sought after records in such beautiful CONDITION: COVER NM - - - / LP NM -. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, bid with confidence. Buyer pays actual shipping cost, Plus $1 for lp mailer box.
