The item up for auction is a SUPER RARE COLLECTORS and MUSIC LOVERS item - a recording of the MOZART VIOLIN CONCERTO NO. 3 & NO. 5 performed by violin virtuoso ARTHUR GRUMIAUX accompanied by the LONDON SYMPHONY conducted by COLIN DAVIS. This is a WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL STEREO PRESSING issued in the USA on the PHILIPS record label. A truly wonderful recording in NEAR MINT CONDITION!

Long out of print and now a very scarce title, this auction is for a near mint copy of -

• VIOLIN CONCERTO NO. 5 IN A, K. 219

ARTHUR GRUMIAUX (VIOLIN) ACCOMPANIED BY COLIN DAVIS CONDUCTING THE LONDON SYMPHONY

The LP is from the SUPER rare PHILIPS STEREO series of LPs (now LONG out of print and hotly pursued by audiophile and music collector alike), catalog # PHS 900-012 (in stereo). 

Condition Details - the JACKET IS NEAR MINT - it is completely intact with no splits - it is nice and solid with clean corners and vivid colours - just beautiful given the vintage of the LP! 

The LP IS NEAR MINT and played that way when spot play graded - it looks and played like a new record. The vinyl has a WHITE  record label (PROMO - FOR BROADCAST PURPOSES, NOT FOR SALE), with predominantly BLACK lettering. The LP was clearly issued and pressed in the USA. 

This LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
