Description

Up for sale from 1956 Piano Red's debut LP In Concert Groove LP-1002. Live recordings February 1956 side 1. at Atlanta Georgia's Magnolia Ballroom, and his first early studio tracks side 2. Very first Piano Red album recorded on Groove label a (subsidiary of RCA) Original green label deep Groove before recording later with Dr. John and the Interns. COVER is a strong VG++ for a 58 year old cover with sharp corners, beautiful spines, no writing, and just a mild hint of aging wear. RECORD is NM side1. Can't see a mark on side as it looks glossy new mirror like new, Side 2. is NM- like side 1, but has a couple very small angel hairlines that can only be seen under a bright light, and really not even worth mentioning at all. Labels are super clean with a few very light spindle marks, and also really not worth mentioning. Comes with original wax paper bag style sleeve which is split neatly, and evenly almost half way along the seam on one side, so if asked I will ship this in a generic sleeve to prevent further splitting.
