PAUL ROBESON 1: JOE HILL 2: SCANDALIZE MY NAME / FREIHEIT
Very rare French release from 1949
Condition: B+ An occassional crackle but no serious clicks. Plays really well, very listenable.
10" Shellac 78rpm Mono
NOTES ON CONDITION:
A - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. B - The record has obviously been played many times. Occassional crackling, mostly on run-in/out. C - Still very playable. Record does crackle, but not sufficient to not enjoy.
I have graded the records to the above system.
I have quite a few 78s to list and find the standard vinyl grading unhelpful. All the 78s I am listing individually are very listenable and enjoyable, some in remarkable condition considering their age. None have severe damage like deep scratches that click during play. But mostly they are not without the odd crackle.

I have played at least one side before grading.
All are played on my trusty Ferguson 3016 mono record player. I haven't cleaned any of the records, all are in "as found" condition. Some would benefit from a clean, and that would possibly remove some crackling.
I have tried to be as objective as I can when grading.
