A definitive recording in every way imaginable. 
For one, it was recorded at Lucasfilm's Skywalker Ranch, where the studio acoustic is entirely adjustable. Mr. Wilson's aim there? To have the piano sounding as if it were being played in your living room. (Make no mistake, he succeeds.) 
Next, the mic preamps were designed by none other than John Curl, of early Mark Levinson fame. A designer, among few, who truly understands how to stay neutral with electronics. (I still use his JC2 preamp, myself.) 
Last, all cabling was managed by Bruce Brisson of MIT and the entire process was made possible by TAS magazine, with a grant to support the production from beginning to end. 
Simply a beautiful piece, this copy like-new in every way. Near mint and better in the playing.

This record comes from a inherited collection of most audiophile jazz and classical that 
my father spent his entire adult life putting together. All I want is for these records 
to end up in the hands of someone who will appreciate them. Please message me if you're 
interested in seeing a list of all the records. Because of the number of records 
involved, I can only grade discs and jackets visually. I grade conservatively but 
realistically: the highest grade I will give an unsealed disc whose surfaces are pristine 
and unmarked is NM. A NM- grade indicates a disc with very minor visible evidence of use 
(usually a minor scuff or light scratch ) that should not seriously interfere with 
audition and may well be inaudible.
