Top rare soundtrack by Piero Piccioni of the 1982 movie by Alberto Sordi, starring Mr.Sordi himself together with Monica Vitti. Don't let you mislead by the year, as the record is totally great!
Loads of incredible blazing Hip Hop breaks (forget the Ronn Forella Lp!), with clean drums patterns and huge basslines. Killer down-tempo beats with phased drums, especially the amazing "Io so tu sai egli sa...". Listen!
Killer Electric piano psych funk with spiritual jazz soprano sax on the mad "Occhio Discreto" (very Colpo Rovente OST insipired). More psychedelic samba funk on the tribal "Ritmo Macumbeiro" with flute riffs and insane brazilian percussions.
Three superb classic Piero Piccioni style bossa tracks, especially the Brazilian "Volo di Mezzanotte" with Piccioni himself at the Electric Piano and Toquinho at the guitar.
"Chiro amanti" (clip 04), a killer psych funk number, is actually an alternative version of the track "Kintabu" taken from the impossible to find "Colpo Rovente" Lp! "Codice d'amore", instead, is an alternative take of the track "Acapulco", always from "Colpo Rovente". Listen!
