Italian pressing, Sound work shop SWS 124 (1979)

Seldom heard Piero Umiliani library (as Moggi) and certainly the one you don't see anymore for sale. One of the best, funkiest and weirdest library by the Maestro (in my top-3 for sure), the whole record is just amazing and the electronics, made by Piero himself is just out-of-this-world! Soundclip opens with the mental spacey disco funk ULTIMISSIME (with funky wah-wah and ultra fat bassline) followed by the heavy cosmic funk DOSSIER. ELZEVIRO, my very favourite track, is unbelievable spacey Fender rhodes jazz; more amazing disco funk with groovy electronics on the killer ROTATIVA. NEWS!, SCOOP, PRIMA PAGINA and FATTO DI CRONACA are just mad industrial psychedelic jazz with killer electronics FX and amazing moog. EDIZIONE STRAORDINARIA is just Piero Umiliani back in his hard-bop days! Top!!
