Condizioni : la copertina presenta oltre al consueto ring wear, alcune grinze maggiormente visibili sul retro dove sono anche presenti alcune tracce brune, una leggerissima abrasione vicino al bordo superiore sulla sinistra rispetto alla stampigliatura di un numero di catalogo fatto dalla stessa RCA per non so quali motivi, per cortesia guardate la scansione n° 2, VG+ / il vinile ha alcuni segni superficiali che rivelano all'ascolto soltanto pochi leggeri clicchettii; bello stato, EX

Condition : the cover shows apart from the usual ring wear, a few creases more visible in the back where there are also some brown traces, a very slight abrasion near the top edge on the left of the stamp as a catalog number made by the same RCA for unknown reasons, please look at scan No. 2, VG + / vinyl has some surface marks that reveal which affect listening with only a few light clicks, EX

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : Il primo brano è la sigla dell'omonima serie televisiva in 10 puntate sul jazz in Italia e le sue infiltrazioni in altri generi musicali. La RCA Italiana pubblicò un album intitolato "Parole e Musica" (LPM-10106) con grandi jazz standards internazionali cantati dalla bravissima Helen Merrill e tratto da una puntata della sopracitata serie televisiva. Tuttavia i due brani contenuti in questo singolo non sono presenti su questo LP. "Moderato Swing" è un tema jazz discretamente ritmico che evidenzia in particolare Berto Pisano al basso, Sergio Conti alla batteria e la tromba di Nino Culasso. "Tema di Blues" era il brano introduttivo con cui Umiliani e il suo ensemble aprivano le loro esecuzioni nello spettacolo televisivo. È guidato dalla tromba con il supporto del contrabbasso, della batteria e dell'intera formazione.

Notes : the first track is the signature tune of the homonymous TV series in 10 episodes concerning the jazz in Italy and its penetration into other musical genres. The Italian RCA released an album titled "Parole e Musica" (LPM-10106) with great international jazz standards sung by the very talented Helen Merrill and taken from an episode of the aforementioned television series. However, the two tunes in this single are not present on the LP. "Moderato Swing" is a jazz theme discreetly rhythmic highlighted in particular Berto Pisano on bass, Sergio Conti on drums and the trumpet of Nino Culasso. "Tema di Blues" was the music intro with which Umiliani and his ensemble opened their performances in that television show. It is led by the trumpet with the support of the bass, the drums and the whole line-up.
