Condizioni : la copertina mostra un pò di lieve usura genrerale e qualche piccola grinza nei pressi del bordo superiore; bello stato, EX / il vinile è stato frequentemente suonato e mostra diversi segni superficiali (vg). Sorprendentemente l'ascolto non è minimamente condizionato da questi difetti(ex+); discreto stato, VG+

Condition : cover shows a bit of slight overall and some small creasing near the top edge, EX / vinyl was frequently played and shows several surface marks (vg). Surprisingly listening is in no way affected by these flaws (ex+), VG+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note :  tema reso celebre nel mondo intero dalla serie televisiva per bambini "Sesame Street" (USA), piuttosto che dal film documentario di Scattini. I grotteschi vocalizzi "nonsense" di Alessandroni che si scontrano con quelli civettuoli di Giulia De Mutiis, all'epoca sua moglie con il ritmico accompagnamento jazzistico dei Marc 4 sono ormai da tutti i collezionisti ben conosciuti. Sul retro la versione strumentale di "You Tried to Warm Me", tema romantico carino ma non alla stessa altezza della versione cantata da Lydia McDonald.

Notes : theme popularized throughout the world by the American children's television series "Sesame Street" rather than by Scattini's documentary. The grotesque and nonsense vocalizations by Alessandroni colliding with the flirtatious ones by Giulia De Mutiis, his wife at the time, with the rhythmic jazzy accompaniment of Marc 4 are already well known by all collectors. On the back the instrumental version of "You Tried to Me Warm", a lovely romantic theme but not at the same level of the version sung by Lydia McDonald.
