Legendary box , and Ultra rare , the sought after SAPM STEREO pressing but ED2 label , german stereo ED1 BOX ..This box is legendary because the PIERRE FOURNIER interpretations is considered as one of the most important interpretation fo the CELLO suites by JS BACH , this is one of the historical version with the CASALS / MAINARDI / STARKER / TORTELIER ones ..
ESSENTIAL for every classical collector's .
THIS PRESSING , is the textued box with the huge insert and the little archiv recording booklet ..The records were stocked into deluxe inner sleeve threw the years ..
CONDITION, the records and box are EX , please read carefully the item description ..
RECORDS , the whole set look EX and finally play EX , but the records are not NEAR MINT , there are minor crackles during rare moments so here and there you have few crackles but it do not disturb a great EX LISTENING , i listen the whole set and had clean manually the records , there was light dust into the microsillon and some are still sounding so it need a cleaning machine but i defenetly think that the sound is EX WITH ONLY RARE CRACKLES here and there ( during short times ) , VISUALLY we see very minor micro hairlines here and there but they do not sounding or they make very minor crackles ( and only under strong light ) ..
SLEEVE and BOX , there is mini damages , the front cover has a light decoloration on the front writing ( hardly visible ) , plus there is a name write inside the box " castagnole " ( 5cm on 1cm ) , the rest is ultra clean , the box sides and front and back are solid EX , the inserts are clean ..
