Hello & welcome to my auction for this PIL collectors Metal Box LP.

This is my original set purchased in 1979, played a handful of times & then stashed away in the attic when I moved house. This is first press as indicated by the METAL 1 sticker on underside of tin & there is also the B (from A) correction on 1 of the discs. I have tried to show this on photos but reflections made it quite difficult.
The track listing sheet is missing, but, all 3 lps & paper liners are here.

Please note, the records look okay with no visible damage, but, I have not been able to check the sound quality as I no longer have access to a record player. I can only advise they played okay at time of purchase in 1979 & haven't been used since.

The box is quite tarnished due to age & there are a few small rust marks on edge of tin, again I have tried to show this in the photos. There are also some marks on internal side of box & on the paper liners.

I am not a dealer, I am selling this from my own collection. I only sell items I would be pleased to receive myself & I aim to be 100% upfront about condition to avoid any disappointment. However, condition is personal interpretation & I will happily answer any questions or provide additional photos upon request. Alternatively you can arrange to inspect if you so wish. I offer this as I am unable to accept returns.

I have quoted postage costs via a courier as I believe this to be more cost effective than Royal Mail. However, if you wish me to use Royal Mail service then please ask me for a price prior to bidding. I do think this item needs to be sent via a tracked & signed for service for peace of mind for both parties.
