Polydor 2383 132 SUPER 1972 UK
condition vinyl Near Mint/Sleeve EX+
This is the Original UK Pressing on the `Red` Polydor Label in `E.J.Day` gatefold sleeve (later issues came in single sleeves) - matrix/run out groove - 2383132 A 1 11/2383132 B 1 11
Vinyl - BEAUTIFUL with that just pressed shine plays SUPERB (especially silent on the intro spoken parts) - even under very bright spotlight cant see any real marks!! possibly 1 feint microscopic hairline, and if I was to be really critical a small imperfection in the press - Looks Mint in Normal Iight!! - GREAT copy - comes with original `Made in England` `plastic bags can be dangerous` inner sleeve
Labels - 1st issue Red Polydor undamaged & clean, with `Made in England` credit - cant see any spindle wear/spider lines etc
Sleeve - `E.J.Day` Original UK 1st Issue Gatefold sleeve, (watch out for later issues in the single sleeve!!) matt finish hard item to find in top condition - this copy has a LOVELY SPINE and no edgewear, Sharp opening with NO feathering, a couple of edge creases and a corner crease, but still a very nice copy - see pictures - NO pen writing/tears/sticky label problems etc
Rarity - Definitely!! Pink Fairies have become incredibly popular these days amongst collectors but when this LP was released in 1972 there was only minimal interest in their music, this LP sold poorly, scraped in the UK chart for 1 week then disappeared
Just a note on Grading - I always play grade my records right through and unless stated they do not jump, skip or stick when played!!! I always view the vinyl under a very bright halogen spotlight!!! Why? because although I have excellent vision when viewed under a normal light or even worse a fluorescent tube (most shops have these) the vinyl will not show up how marked it truly is - some view records in daylight but this has to be done in direct sunlight, many is the time I have bought a record from a car boot sale etc looked at it in daylight only to find later it was literally covered in surface marks - I do this so that I can give the full picture and should please even the most `critical` of collectors. Also I photograph the WHOLE of the cover (I dont cut off the corners or edge) so you can see as close as possible what you will receive!!

Postage/packing: I use new professional record mailers with several cardboard stiffeners to protect the cover - the record will be placed in a NEW clean inner sleeve, removed from the record cover (saves ringwear/pushing through seams) and together with original old inner placed in a NEW pvc outer sleeve - I also include recorded delivery as standard in the overall cost in the UK (70p) it covers up to £30 in case of loss - it will be optional for international packages (as it is more expensive) but still advisable! - please note complete postage charges (below) before bidding!
Payment - I am quite patient but if I have waited a couple of weeks for money and sent reminders unless there is a good reason I will claim back my fees and give a nonpaying bidder strike - I don't charge for Paypal!

Grading's
Mint : The record itself is brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EX : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing
VG : The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some surface marks. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
plus + : slightly better than grade
minus - : slightly under grade
