A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON A1 / B3
It is rare to find a 'Momentary Lapse' in such amazing condition.  The vinyl and cover are practically Mint such is the quality as described below.  Pinkfloydarchives.com also has the A1/B3 matrix as the first pressing of this often underrated LP.  Released in 1987 this UK pressing will not disappoint any avid fan.  A fantastic example.

Visual grading
Under a bright light this record is in stunning condition.  I cannot detect any hairlines and it retains that wonderful glossy sheen of new vinyl.  There is also no spindle wear on the labels suggesting it has been hardly played, if at all.
Play grading
Unsurprisingly the vinyl plays to an extremely high standard, almost Mint in my humble opinion.  'Signs of Life' begins with the lightest of static but soon dissipates to then play with stunning audio.  Amazing quality for such a quiet and atmospheric track.  The clarity and depth continues on 'Learning To Fly' which quite simply plays as Mint.  Both 'The Dogs of War' and 'One Slip' have very mild static at the start (barely worth mentioning!) but then play as new.  'On The Turning Away' is quite simply the best I have ever heard and has absolutely stunning clarity.  Even the quiet intro is Mint and this is the reason why we buy vinyl.  The depth and richness of sound is paramount here, something you just don't get with other music formats.
'Yet Another Movie' starts Side Two with minor lead in static and two pops for some reason but thereafter plays superbly well.  The audio on 'A New Machine Part 1' is breathtaking!  It plays like new it is that good.  The remaining tracks also play with astonishing audio with almost zero static.  'Sorrow' finishes the LP in great style with immense clarity and depth.
I cannot stress just how good this A1/B3 pressing is.  With barely any interference you would not be disappointed with this even it was brand new off the shelf!  For very nearly 30 years old I think it would be nigh on impossible to find a better one.  It is a real find and would be a fantastic addition for any avid collector.
Gatefold cover  
This gatefold is without doubt one of the best I have seen.  The edges and wide spine are in superb order with almost no shelf wear.  The front and back cover and the inside of the gatefold are in superlative condition.  If I have to mention anything there is one very small amount of wear on the top edge of the reverse side and the same on the bottom edge but they really are so minimal.  The top edge also has a very small crease but again is hardly noticeable.  It does seem like I'm being picky but my nature is never to describe something as perfect!  In wonderful condition this gatefold easily grades as Near Mint.
Lyric inner
The lyric inner is in stunning condition with no handling wear at all.  No splits or tears.
