ORIGINAL 1988 FRENCH WHITE VINYL LIMITED VERSAILLES EDITION (7480680 1) OF PINK FLOYD'S "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" LP - IN WONDERFUL CONDITION - I DON'T THINK IT'S EVER BEEN PLAYED (the labels show no spindles or signs of use) AND IT DELIVERS JUST ABOUT THE FINEST AUDIO I HAVE HEARD (the standard UK first issues commonly suffer from pressing problems which result in excessive surface noise but this edition, even though it's pressed on white vinyl, plays far, far better - see detailed audio assessment below)
PRESSED ON PURE WHITE VINYL
THE SET IS *COMPLETE* WITH BOTH POSTERS - A SMALL GATEFOLD POSTER WHICH WRAPS AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE SLEEVE (with the original orange sticker "SERIE LIMITEE -INCLUS- DISQUE BLANC et POSTER.") AND A FOUR PANEL POSTER, PRINTED ON BOTH SIDES (with "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason - Versailles 1988" performance shot on one side and Momentary Lapse photo on the other)
AND THE LP IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL GATEFOLD SLEEVE WHICH IS LARGELY MATT BUT WITH THE FRONT COVER "MAN ON BED" PHOTO HIGHLY GLOSSY and THE ORIGINAL LYRIC INNER SLEEVE

LABELS: The labels are clean, fresh and unmarked with no spindles or signs of use - beautiful copy - in my opinion, unplayed - MINT
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen and appear completely unmarked. On playback however, I noticed a few clicks at the beginning of Side Two so under close examination with a magnifying glass I detected a tiny mark at this point - and I do mean really tiny (please see audio assessment below) - NEAR MINT
VINYL Audio: Outstanding audio delivery in every respect to this special edition. As usual Pink Floyd's soundscapes cover an amazing dynamic range from the almost silent ambient detail (like the oars gently dipping into the water at the very beginning of the LP) to the loudest crescendos and all frequencies are bright, clear and beautifully rich, warm and vibrant and apart from the aforementioned tiny mark at the beginning of Side Two - which gives rises to 19 clicks as it is passed over, about 30 seconds of the quiet intro - the audio is practically flawless. This pressing certainly delivers the cleanest audio I have heard - shame about the few clicks but otherwise, sensational sound throughout. Therefore, very strictly graded as NEAR MINT (Side One) and EXCELLENT (Side Two) - a very critical grading (like always) as apart from the clicks it plays beautifully
SLEEVE: The gatefold cover is clean and unmarked with crisp, shape edges and spine with display no wear - all spine text is clear and bold. The glossy photo print has a deep, glass-like, unrubbed sheen - EXCELLENT+
INNER SLEEVE: The original lyric inner has some record impression and light creasing but there are no splits to any of the edges - EXCELLENT (+)
WRAP AROUND POSTER: The small gatefold poster which which wraps around the outside of the sleeve is MINT
POSTER: The four panel, double sided poster is similarly untouched and MINT
