HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB, UK EMI (EMD 1003) ORIGINAL PRESSING (September 1987) OF PINK FLOYD'S OUTSTANDINGLY RICH AND POWERFUL,"A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" LP

THE RECORD IS POSSIBLY COMPLETELY UNPLAYED AND THE LABELS ARE PRISTINE WITH NO SPINDLES (see detailed audio assessment below)
THE GATEFOLD COVER "Sleeve printed in England. Manufactured in England. RB8709HP" IS EXCELLENT
THE LYRIC INNER SLEEVE (side opening with thumb notch) IS NEAR MINT

LABELS: The picture labels are CLEAN, BRIGHT and UNMARKED with NO evident spindles. THIS COPY IS POSSIBLY COMPLETELY UNPLAYED
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN with some light hairlines but these have NO major audio consequence
VINYL Audio: OUTSTANDING audio delivery in every respect. Covers a fantastic dynamic range from the almost silent ambient detail (such as the oars gently dipping into the water at the beginning of the LP) to the loudest crescendos with all frequencies BRIGHT and CLEAR - BEAUTIFULLY RICH, WARM and TREMENDOUSLY POWERFUL AUDIO. Latter day Pink Floyd LPs can be very problematic regarding the audio quality but this copy plays to a high standard with NO groove-wear or distortion. There are NO scratches, skips or jumps but there is some surface noise on the quiet beginning/intros of both sides but this soon subsides as the music proper starts. (I have never actually heard a copy which doesn't play with a little crackle at these points). Must be very critically graded as EXCELLENT to (+) but a better sounding copy I do not think you will find. TREMENDOUS LP
SLEEVE: The gatefold cover is in EXCELLENT condition. Being matte and untreated this sleeve is incredibly prone to wear and this one does display some surface rubbing but practically NO edge wear and the THICK spine is straight and true with all text CLEAR and BOLD
INNER SLEEVE: The original lyric inner with a opening side edge notch is NEAR MINT with NO splits to any of the edges and little evidence of actually ever being handled. The LP is now housed - and will be posted in - a new inner to prevent any 'knifing' damage to the original during transit
