Cover: Original 1st pressing Garrod & Lofthouse 'Hipgnosis' designed cover with laminated front and unlaminated rear with triple flip-backs. Has the 1st pressing 'File Under Popular: Pop Groups' text in the top right corner of rear cover and '6807 TPS Printed and Made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd Patents Pending SX6258/SCX 6258' text on the bottom right of the rear cover. No writings, doodles or seam splits. Near Excellent condition for its age - some minor wear to spine/corners and some light laminate creasing to the front cover - see photos.
Inner sleeve: Original EMI 'ads' inner sleeve in Near Mint condition.
Labels: Excellent. with no writings, doodles or stickers. Earliest 1st pressing labels with Corporal Clegg credited to 'Magdalene Music' - see scan - later pressing were credited to 'Lupus Music Ltd'.
Vinyl: Play tested. Still retains quite a nice sheen despite having been played a lot in the past. Side one looks VG and Side 2 looks Good+ with some non-feelable marks/scratches. Both sides play through with no skips/jumps but have hiss & crackle - which is more noticeable on the run-in, between tracks and in quieter parts. An average condition record with a very reasonable starting price for such a rarity.

Gradings......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
