This is a SECOND LABLE copy, and it is sought after as a rare collectable for the premier progressive psychedelic rock band.
They went on to record among the finest albums of the century!!
Breathtaking music, astounding live, and surely their music will be considered the CLASSIC music of our times.
The title track is an astonishing psychedelic piece
exemplary of their live show around this period. then there's tunes which show their strengths in composing - ending with a sad message from their founder member Syd Barrett, telling of his diminished mental condition then. It was his last track as a Pink Floyd member.
One talented mans' tragic descent in drugged incompetence is a bit of a warning from the depths.
Roger Waters had assumed leadership in their studio direction, and proved a very capable composer, and I must emphasise Rick Wright's often understated abilities here too, as his songs are quite brilliant!
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG++ to EXCELLENT, playing really well. A couple of small marks cause a few clicks on side 2 only.
One 'EMI' box Lables are EXCELLENT, no stains, stickers or pen.
Some spindle lines.
The LAMINATED 3 FLIPBACK-TAB COVER is VG+.
Showing general wear, some handling creases.
