Pink Floyd---"A Saucerful Of Secrets"---Original UK 1st Pressed Mono Album In G+/VG+ Condition On The Blue/Black Columbia Label--- -1 and -1 From 1968 With 1/G & 1/G Mothers/Stampers
This is a UK copy from 1968 in mono on the blue/black Columbia label, cat. no. SX 6258 with matrices -1 and -1 and mothers/stampers 1/G and 1/G.
Vinyl: G+. The vinyl is in quite bad condition with a great shine in a few places but looks as if it has been left in a hot place and has buckled and blotched. Amazingly, it plays right through without any jumping or skipping but the needle moves around quite a lot on the 1st half of each side. It improves a lot as each side goes on with the last third of side 2 playing EX. The whole record has a heavy hissing reducing to a swishing sound in the later part of each side. Still listenable though.
Labels: G. The labels are in bad condition being very creased and puckered on both sides.
Sleeve: VG+. The sleeve is the best part of this set and is in solid condition with just a little light wear and creasing. Still has a nice laminated shine and the flips on the back are nice and solid.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
