Description
This is an original UK mono LP (1968) of Pink Floyd's "A Saucerful of secrets"...
I played it for the first time in 20 years to check it..It has a fantastic raw sound as though you are in a room with the band ! There is some background noise but it has never been cleaned but still plays very well... I was advised to clean it with soapy water ! but I did not want to touch it therefore it would probably benefit from a professional clean...
Columbia SX6258 With blue / black labels...numbers on the vinyl are; side 1 - XAX 3633-1 and on side 2 - XAX 3634-1...There is also a P on side 1 and an M on side 2 ???
Record has light surface marks but plays through with no jumps or sticks and retains gloss finish on both sides..Side 1 label is near perfect and side 2 has two very small white dots on it..The cover has slight creasing to the laminate, the corners are slightly scuffed and there is minimal wear to the entry edge but still all intact at flip edges...Antistatic old inner sleeve but I don't think this is the original...This appears to be a rare album and I am no expert, so I have tried to be as honest as possible with description...I will also send the winning bidder my re issue copy of this album, released on the Fame label - catalogue no. FA3163 Which is in good condition..
