'A Saucerful Of Secrets' is Pink Floyd's second studio album. It was recorded on various date between August 1967-April 1968 at EMI's Abbey Road Studios, London and was produced by Norman Smith. 'A Saucerful Of Secrets' is the last Pink Floyd album that Syd Barrett would appear on, and is the only album in which all five members contributed on, the title track being Gilmour's first professional songwriting credit. The song 'Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun' is the only song in which all five members appear, and is also the only album to contain lead vocals by all five members. The cover was designed by Hipgnosis, who went on to design several other covers for the band, and was only the second time that an EMI group was permitted to hire outside designers for the album cover.
'A Saucerful Of Secrets' is rare to find in this condition, the vinyl is in archive mint condition!!! Prog Rock collectors would love to own one in this amazing condition!!! I've played it on my Pioneer PL 550-X, the sound is amazing! Plays with no distortion, crackle, jumps or clicks!!! The Original Flipback cover is in very good condition, just a little natural wear, and light laminate creasing, please consult the pictures.
