 Early issues have a thick cardboard cover with the front edge of the gatefold sealed with a foldunder, and a wide spine.

Inside Cover:Pictures of the pig at Battersea. In the lower right corner, it says: "Made and printed in Great Britain 7701 TM Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd."
Black cardboard inner sleeve with lyrics on it. Round corners, and a 9-inch notch on the edge that opens. In the lower right corner is the catalog number: "SHVL 815(I)."
