Description
Up for your consideration is a rare and beautiful NM/NM copy of "ANIMALS" by PINK FLOYD which was pressed in 1977 on virgin pink geranium vinyl and on the HARVEST LABEL. This is an ORIGINAL 1977 FRENCH RELEASE and shows no apparent physical signs of being played. It comes with the original shrink wrap (sandwich bag) that has both the "DISQUE ROSE" HYPE STICKER and the "JAM" IMPORT STICKER attached to the shrink cover. (see pictures) The hype sticker has been separated along the left edge so that the cover could be opened. The shiny vinyl, both front and back covers, (along with the inside portions of the gatefold) it's labels and inner sleeve are are all in NM condition! Also it has A1/B1 stamped in the runout with the rare PRICE CODE "Y" on the upper right corner on the back cover (A and K are the most common). This price code is not part of the suffix at the end of the catalog number/which you see often. For the PINK FLOYD collectors, this issue would be a great addition in the expansion and development of one's collection. These are very hard to find, especially in beautuful condition and very rarely are they offered in an auction format!
