This record is in excellent- condition. It has some spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs, fading or any other damage. Overall the labels are in very nice condition with no serious issues to report but with some spindle marks to each side.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have a lovely lustre and have nothing remotely deep or serious showing. However they do have some light scuffs, minor lines and signs of use showing in normal light. These are all light and faint but are there and are a sign of use and age. These with a few more extremely minor light wispy lines are visible in bright light but again nothing serious or sinister. Overall this vintage record has no serious scuffs, nasty marks or blemishes and in is good playable condition but has faint and light signs of use.
I play tested the record and it played well with no major issues and enjoyable audio throughout. It lays flat on the deck with only the most minor amount of upward movement noticeable upon playing. The audio produced is a solid grade of excellent throughout in my opinion. There are no skips, sticks or tics and overall no major levels of interference. I did note a few things during the play test however. Firstly I noted around 2 or 3 light 'crunches' in the opening parts of track 1. I then have little noted on side 1 other than strong EX audio with just the odd faint splutter in parts. Side 2 is much the same as the majority of side 1 but has some light splutters or minor surface noise in the quiet parts of track 1 and intro or quiet beginning of track 2. I noted no stand out issues at all and overall I think a grade of EX- is fair and accurate.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has wear and rubbing to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is still legible. It has a solid spine and there are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. Inside the gatefold is clean, bright and has no serious issues to report but there is some light fading in parts. There is no major creasing or ring marks evident but there is some slight fading in places and the odd indentation to each side. Overall it is not pristine but is a nice example with just general age related wear as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on the sleeves condition.
It contains its original lyrics thick card inner(which has rounded corners) which is in very good- condition. It has no tears or scuffs but has light age spots to each side, minor creasing and also splits to the bottom and left edges. It is therefore fragile and I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure no further damage occurs during transit.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
