Here is a immaculate original uk copy of the excellent 1977 Pink Floyd album 'Animals'. This copy is simply stunning, the vinyl is in MINT- condition and all tracks look, play and sound MINT throughout with a faultless sound quality that just cannot be bettered, this album has only ever had just three very careful plays on a decent turntable since new and so is still perfect and will not need upgrading. The Garrod & Lofthouse matt gatefold cover is also in amazing clean and tidy condition with barely any signs of handling or wear at all. The original card inner with rounded corners is superb apart from a very small seem split at the middle of the bottom edge, this tiny split was actually there when i bought this album new, the vinyl has always been kept in a more vinyl friendly poly-lined inner sleeve since day one to avoid further splits.

This original uk issue is a final upgrade for the vinyl and the Garrod & Lofthouse matt gatefold sleeve, the card inner is almost perfect and not too far behind.

The vinyl is in amazing ultra-clean playing condition and grades an immaculate MINT-, both sides have that brilliant just pressed blemish free appearance, there are no surface marks, scuffs or hairlines at all, both sides really do look in flawless condition, all tracks play superbly well throughout with no loud clicks or pops and no annoying loud crackle, this record has only ever had just three very careful plays on a decent turntable since new so the sound quality is perfect throughout. The winning bidder will definitely not be disappointed with this brilliant MINT- looking, playing and sounding original uk pressing.

Both labels are in mint condition and look as good as new.

GARROD & LOFTHOUSE MATT GATEFOLD SLEEVE = NEAR MINT

The matt gatefold sleeve with extra wide spine was made and printed in the uk by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. This gatefold sleeve looks amazing and is in very near perfect condition with barely any signs of handling or wear at all. The extra wide spine is straight strong and true with all text very clear and easy to read, being very fussy there are just very small light traces of rubbing at the corner tips. This album cover has always been kept inside a thick plastic protective cover so the top and bottom and opening edges are in really superb condition with barely any traces of storage wear at all. The front and back and inside gatefold are in brilliant wear free condition and look as good as new. This matt gatefold cover basically looks as good as the day of print and like the vinyl it too will also not disappoint in any way.

BLACK CARD LYRIC INNER = EX

This is the original earliest black card inner sleeve with rounded corners and a 9-inch notch on the top edge that opens, In the lower right corner of the second side, it says "SHVL 815(1)." Later issues have square cut corners, no notch at the opening edge, and no album code printed at the bottom corner. This original card inner is just about perfect apart from a very tiny split at the center of the bottom edge, when i bought this album brand new the very small seem split was actually already there, the vinyl has since always been kept in a separate more vinyl friendly poly-lined inner sleeve, this has prevented the original inner from further splits or wear. This original card inner sleeve still looks in superb condition with no other faults at all.

I pack my records very well, the album will be removed from the outer cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
