1967 uk Columbia DB 8156. M-. Here is a stunning original barely played uk copy of 'The Pink Floyd's' very rare 1967 debut psych 45. This fantastic top copy still looks just about perfect and both sides play as new, i would guess that this 45 has had no more than just one or two careful plays since new. Almost all original uk copies of 'Arnold Layne' were pressed with a push-out centre, this copy on offer here has a solid centre and is by far much rarer and harder to find. With this listing i have provided complete MP3s of both sides, these MP3s were taken directly from the vinyl. The pictures are of the actual 45 for sale. Please check out my other items!!
CONDITION = M-
Both sides of the vinyl have a brilliant original clean sheen and look as new, there are no scratches, surface marks or scuffs at all. Both tracks play and sound flawless throughout with no lessoning in the sound quality, there are no clicks or pops to be heard, and surprisingly there is not even any background crackle, even new 45s tend to play with a little crackle but this very rare 43 year old debut Pink Floyd 45 plays with none at all. The matt black/silver Columbia labels would be perfect if not for just two short light spindle trace on each side. The 45 comes in it's original Columbia records paper cover which is as close to mint as you will find. This is just a awesome top copy that will definitely not disappoint in any way whatsoever.
If you collect rare Mod, Psych and Freakbeat 45's, and the stranger and more obscure beat and Pop-Sike releases from the mid to late 1960's, then this musically fantastic super-rare 1967 Pink Floyd debut Psych 45 by would make a really brilliant addition to any serious collection.

I pack my records very well with plenty of rigid card support to avoid damage. I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind.
