Part of a large Pink Floyd collection I have been asked to sell. This is raising funds for a friends divorce settlement (OUCH).
For sale is the bands 1970 album "Atom heart mother". Included in the sale is a live recording of the album, taken from the radio broadcast of the concert at the Paris Theatre in 1970. This album is new, sealed, mint.
Atom has been fully play-graded. Please read that information below.
What I do say is that if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with either the vinyl or any part of my description, I will accept a return, give a full refund and pay the return postage in full. I cannot make a better offer than that.
The vinyl looks a little better than it plays. My hope is that it will clean up with some care and end up sounding better than it currently does. There is a light warp to the vinyl, but the stylus tracks it very easily. Side one starts well but has 6 light clicks. During side one there are some isolated dust pops here and there. Part way through the side there is a light background tick. The rest of the side plays well. Side two starts well. Track two has some light ticks at the very start. Again there are random isolated pops on the side. On the whole this handles the huge amount of silent passages well, but an overall grade of very good is as high as I can go.
The cover has some shelf wear to edges and spine. Nothing ridiculous, but that damage makes the grade very good. The company advert inner sleeve isn't bad but has lost its polythene lining. Grades as very good. The live album is still sealed in the original shrink-wrap and is unopened and unplayed, so grades as mint.
Still a nice listen. Such a different side to Floyd with the huge brass section used in the recording.
All albums are sent in a new anti-static inner sleeve and new heavy duty polythene outer sleeve. All in the price.
I am happy to post worldwide. I can give an exact price once I have packed and weighed the collection and know its destination. In the meantime I have put down a blanket cost for overseas postage which I will amend once I know the destination country.
