Visually the vinyl retains excellent lustrous shiny sheen. Inspected under bright light there are lots of visible marks, predominantly hairlines and sleeve removal marks but also some other more noticeable marks and blemishes. Playback is graded at a strong VERY GOOD PLUS - Atom Heart Mother is of course in many parts a relatively quiet Lp and in some of these parts there is some surface noise audible but really nothing too distracting. For the main it plays really well, still full and vibrant and clear and really a great FIRST PRESS copy.
The YELLOW and GREEN HARVEST record labels with NO EMI BOX and 'GRAMOPHONE CO...' TEXT are graded EXCELLENT MINUS - with little visible spindle wear but perhaps some slight discolouration.
This copy comes with the ORIGINAL ADVERTISING INNER sleeve - VERY GOOD PLUS - some creasing and discolouration and lacks the poly lining.
The ORIGINAL quality card GATEFOLD PICTURE sleeve with 'FILE UNDER POPULAR - POP GROUPS' text printed by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE is EXCELLENT MINUS - still remains strong and intact with some corner/edge wear and at some point a corner bend front bottom left. Also a couple of surface rubs to front top and bottom and slight discolouration but the spine still remains strong and uncrushed and 99% legible.
All in all a really great copy of this classic PINK FLOYD ATOM HEART MOTHER Lp.
