Description
PINK FLOYD "ATOM HEART MOTHER" Original U.K. 1970 gatefold pressing on Harvest Records. SHVL 781. M-/M-.
After Syd Barrett left, the Pink Floyd struggled to find their sound, although they were undeniably England's top psychedelic group. "Atom Heart Mother" was their 5th album & like their other early Barrett-less records, was primarily an intrumental affair although one song "If" hinted at what was yet to come. They consisted of Roger Waters (bass & vocals), David Gilmour (guitar), Rick Wright (keyboards) & Nick Mason (drums). Although also released by Harvest in the U.S., this is the harder to find original British pressing.
5 tracks- Atom Heart Mother a) Father's Shout, b) Breast Milky, c) Mother Fore, d) Funky Dung, e) Mind Your Throats Please, f) Remergence, If, Summer '68, Fat Old Sun & Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast .
Gatefold cover has very minor shelfwear & a touch of corner wear on the lower right but is still highly presentable- bright & shiny, graded at M-. Record is near MINT with no scratches or scuffs but it has been played a bit with chartreuse Harvest labels showing a few light spindle marks.
