Description
On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Arnold Layne" by Pink Floyd and is a UK 1967 1st pressing on the Columbia label!!!! The B side is called 'Candy & A Currant Bun'. THIS SINGLE IS EXTREMELY TOUGH TO LOCATE!!!! THIS WAS PINK FLOYDS 1ST EVER SINGLE AND RARELY EVER TURNS UP!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK Columbia 1st Pressing on the Columbia label and the Cat No is DB 8156.
The record labels are in GREAT ondition (see pictures) with NO writing, only some slight wear around the B side centre hole, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The record is GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 hairlines, and only some very light scuffing only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and only some VERY slight crackle on the A side (NONE on the B side)!!!! There is also some VERY low level surface noise on the A Side run on groove. The single must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in an ORIGINAL Columbia Company sleeve!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE SINGLE AND VERY HARD TO FIND!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a great looking record and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE single!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1967 COLUMBIA UK 1ST PRESSING OF "ARNOLD LAYNE" BY PINK FLOYD IN GREAT CONDITION!!!! Dont forget to have a look at all my other items including many other VERY rare singles & LPs, and contact me with any queries you may have. P&P is £1.50 in the UK, Europe £2, Rest Of The World £3.
