PINK FLOYD - ARNOLD LAYNE / CANDY AND A CURRANT BUN
Original UK 1st press with solid centre - great condition vinyl with equally impressive sound quality
Year/Label : 1967 UK COLUMBIA Label number : DB 8156 Matrix numbers : 7XCA 27877 - 1, 7XCA 27878 - 1 with the "KT" tax code on each side Stampers : 1A / 1 AGlossy jet black sheen vinyl : each side has only been sparingly played with the only blemishes being just the occasional very, very light wispy hairline and paper scuff line each only detectable with close inspection under a bright light. The side 1 label has a few light but noticeable small handling/age scuff marks (see photo) so is only VG but side 2 is EX. There are just a few small and extremely fine spindle tails adjacent to the centre hole on each label. The sound quality on each side is truly excellent with no clicks and absolutely minimal background crackle/interference - great clarity throughout. Comes with original excellent condition COLUMBIA outer sleeve with no seam splits and just a little minor creasing in two of the corners. I always house the vinyl in a plain white sleeve for shipping purposes in order to protect the original. A very nice copy of this timeless Floyd classic.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
