Description
Vintage 1967 promotional copy of "The Pink Floyd" 45 "Arnold Layne" b/w "Candy And A Currant Bun" on US Tower Records 333 in the original label sleeve. I purchased this record in 1967 and it is from my personal collection.
The record is in "EX" condition and has only been played once; there is a small blue smudge above the song title on the plug side: this record is rare because it was pressed at Rainbo with R-953/R-954 etchings. The label also refers to the band as "The" Pink Floyd.
The original Tower sleeve is in "EX+" condition and has no seam splits or ringwear; the song title and my catalog number is written on the top left corner of the plug side on the sleeve (see photos).
I grade conservatively based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
