PINK FLOYD: Atom Heart Mother (´70 / very rare UK EXPORT LP mfd. for sale in Switzerland / HARVEST "SPECIAL EDITION" 777001 / yellow-green label / unlaminated non-gatefold sleeve / a short "background info", as this LP is comparatívely unknown: as most experts will know Switzerland didn´t have a record industry of their own, so during the 60´s and early 70´s almost every record had to be imported - in most cases these were either regular foreign pressings or those export issues, which had already been mfd. for export in other countries - not so in case of this "Special Edition", which is just what the name says: it´s been "specially" made for the Swiss market and was never available in any other country (according to that, the number of records that were manufactured is a rather low one, because Switzerland isn´t the country with the biggest population!) / so this record was fabricated in the U.K. with the intention, that it should only be sold in Swiss record shops, and for that reason it got a different cat. no. to prevent sale in other countries / nevertheless the sleeve wasn´t manufactured in England, but it was made in Switzerland itself (English sleeves of this version don´t exist - the Swiss record company insisted on making their "own" sleeves!) / there is only one similiar "Special Edition" LP, and it´s the follow-up, "Meddle", but in that case the record was imported from Germany)
