Lucy Leave/I'm A King Bee etc RARE RAW MATERIAL
PINK FLOYDA BBC Transcription Services (?) promotional release from 1983 on turquoise vinyl containing Pink Floyd recordings from the early Syd Barrett era
Even though the label states "In Concert" there is no live material on this disc but demos and early recording
The presence of 'Lucy Leave' and 'I'm A King Bee' (and the fact it's on coloured vinyl) indicate this is not a BBC transcription disc at all but a boot compilation of rare PF material pressed in Eastern Europe (where most of these PF coloured vinyl boots seem to come from)
Still an interesting item nonetheless with a superb raw version of Interstellar Overdrive and two of Pink Floyd's earliest unreleased tracks 'Lucy Leave' and 'I'm A King Bee'

THE SOUND QUALITY IS GENERALLY QUITE POOR ('LUCY LEAVE' AND 'I'M A KING BEE' WERE ONLY EVER RECORDED ON ACETATES) AND THE OTHER RECORDINGS ARE VERY ROUGH AND READY - WHICH ACTUALLY GIVES THE LONG STRIPPED DOWN VERSION OF 'INTERSTELLAR OVERDRIVE' GREAT ENERGY
