I have just re-listed this album due to an error in the original listing. Since the original listing I play-graded the entire album and found that surprisingly it looks much better than it actually plays. I have amended the description further down to take this into account. For sale here is a copy of the bands most iconic album, "Dark side of the moon". Released in 1973, this is the genuine UK 2nd pressing with the matrices A3 / B2 and "The Gramophone Co Ltd" text around the rim of the label.  I have been given a huge Pink Floyd collection of over 150 albums plus assorted memorabilia to sell. This is by no means the perfect copy, so please, if you bid, do not expect anything other than what is described below. Please check out my other items for sale. I have some rare and highly collectable Floyd titles coming up as time permits. If you need a specific album play-grading, please let me know and I shall try to oblige. Anyway, to the main event!
Cover is gatefold style and has no issues at all. A great cover with very little, if any, wear worthy of mention. A really clean and solid example and easily grades as excellent.
Inner sleeve is white generic.  Only very lightly discoloured with age, but totally solid and grades EX.

Both posters are in great shape. No pin holes or tape marks at all. These have the odd wrinkle but are in nice undamaged condition. Grade as excellent.
Postcard stickers are the FASPRINT CRACKBACK with brown diagonal lines on the rear. These are both in super condition with no crease lines etc to report.
The vinyl looks really good, very clean with no marks of note. A nice depth of glossy shine, and visually near excellent. Mother/stamper combinations are as follows. Side 1.  1 GTD. Side 2.  2  GPL. These are very early combinations and take it much closer to the quality of a 1st press A2/B2 in my view. However, on a thorough play-grading, there is very light to medium background noise that can be heard in the many quiet sections of the album. There are NO sticks or skips, no repetitive loud clicks or pops, but the vinyl crackle we have all experienced is there. The clarity and detail is really good. In that regards it is a nice copy. Not one for anyone seeking a mint or near mint DSOTM, but rare in its own right as an A2/B3 2nd pressing. I can only grade the audio quality as very good by Record Collector guidelines.
In this auction I am including a great DVD entitled "The Pink Floyd & Syd Barrett story". Exceptionally clean and a quite wonderful story of the journey of the band from the early days through. Just a nice item to have.
So a 100% genuine 2nd UK pressing. All genuine and original parts. Nothing mixed and matched from later copies. I do accept returns if this is not an accurate description or if it does not play as I have described..

Postage is Royal Mail 2nd class signed for within the UK. The actual cost is £3.95 but I am charging a flat rate of just £3.50. Bidders from abroad will be delivered through the Ebay "Global shipping programme", not cheap, but it covers all import/export paperwork and insurance. I do not profit on postage as many do. I actually charge less than Royal Mail charge and all packaging (including a new heavy duty polythene cover and anti-static inner sleeve) is free.

Good luck if you decide to bid on this. Many many sellers on Ebay claim in their listings how rare an album is, even a bog standard copy of this album, however the A3/B2 copy is desirable due to its early pressing and a worthy addition to a collection. 

I have just listened to another pressing, A3/B2 that I have, which is a better sound quality all around. If the winning bidder is happy to do so, I will switch the vinyl and send the better copy. Mother stampers are very similar. Side 1 is 1 RGT and side 2 is 3 GPR.I will also include an original black inner sleeve with the silver text print which was original to the early UK pressings.
