The Dark Side of the Moon A-21 / B-21 (Pathe Marconi - Limited Edition on Clear Vinyl)
This stunning limited edition clear vinyl LP was made in France by Pathe Marconi EMI and released in 1978. It has the original gatefold (catalogue no DC13 on front and back) and also the correct French inner sleeve. Also included are the two original stickers but not the posters sadly.

The vinyl is visually in superb condition and under a bright I cannot detect any hairlines or scratches. It has been played a number of times as there is some spindle wear but is has been so well cared for down the years and obviously very carefully handled. The audio confirms this as described below.
Play grading
'Speak To Me' begins with almost no static and the audio throughout is superb. 'Breathe' also plays with amazing quality and only a handful of very faint dust ticks, nothing that is intrusive. 'On The Run' is just breathtakingly good! I have heard a few of these limited edition clear vinyls down the years but never one as good as this. The clarity is second to none and the volume and depth of sound is just incredible. There is no interference at the end of this track and as anyone knows it plays very quietly. 'Time' also plays to near perfection, the quality is astounding. What can I say about 'The Great Gig...'? The intro is just out of this world! There is just no interference whatsoever and plays as new. The remainder of this classic track equals that quality and the bass sound also comes through superbly. There is perhaps just the lightest of intermittent static but it is just so much in the background you have to put your ears right next to the speakers to hear it! The quiet ending plays with a quality I have not heard in a long time. Absolutely stunning, phew!
'Money' on Side Two has one pop but apart from that plays with great clarity again. The intro to 'Us And Them' is just sublime although about one minute in I did hear a faint crackle type sound. The rest of the track plays without issue and is a fantastic listen. 'Any Colour You Like' has Near Mint audio and 'Brain Damage' is just an incredible listen. The depth and quality of the sound is of the highest calibre and there is none of the distortion that you so often get with the standard black vinyl pressings. 'Eclipse' plays in similar fashion although I would say this song does play with a little distortion.
Overall this limited edition clear vinyl LP plays with immense quality and is easily the best I have heard in many a year. There is no real interference to speak of, just a few light dust ticks here and there. Any Floyd fan would be pleased to have this in their collection. A rare piece of Floyd memorabilia.
Gatefold cover
The original Pathe Marconi gatefold is in excellent condition and only has very minor shelf wear. It is extremely clean and free of any marks or writing. There are a few small creases around the edges and spine but they are not that noticeable. The corners have a little rubbing and this is more obvious on the top and bottom of the spine. The edges themselves are relatively free of rubbing although the bottom edge of the back cover does have a little. The inside of the gatefold is in lovely condition. The DC13 catalogue number is shown on both the front and back cover.
Inner sleeve
The original die-cut inner sleeve (with French wording) is in excellent condition with no splits or tears just some minor creasing.
Labels
They are both in great condition with only some spindle wear.
The stickers
Both are in excellent condition with only very light creasing. One of them does have a tiny mark on it. On the reverse they have 'Crack Back / FasPrint / Permanent' with the brown diagonal lines.
