PINK FLOYD, DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, HARVEST VINYL LP

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd evolved from an earlier rock band, formed in 1965, which was at different times called Sigma 6, The Meggadeaths, The Architectural Abdabs, The Screaming Abdabs, and The Abdabs. When the band split up, guitarists Rado ‘Bob’ Klose and Roger Waters, drummer Nick Mason, and wind instrument player Rick Wright formed a new band called Tea Set. After a brief spell with a lead vocalist named Chris Dennis guitarist and vocalist Syd Barrett joined the band and it was Barrett that came up with the name Pink Floyd (after two blues musicians, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council). Dark Side of the Moon was released in 1973 and the line-up was David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Richard Wright and Nick Mason.
This copy has only been graded as ‘fair’ as it has not been looked after well. It has numerous marks which I have tried to show in the last two photos. It does play, but with a fair bit of crackle, pop and clicks. As it is rare to find a ‘solid blue triangle’ version of this album I have decided to auction it as a ‘collection filler’ for someone. Do not expect it to look or play great!!

Side One: (a) (i) Speak To Me, (ii) Breathe In The Air, (b) On The Run, (c) Time, (d) The Great Gig In The Sky.
Side Two: (e) Money, (f) Us And Them, (g) Any Colour You Like, (h) Brain Damage, (i) Eclipse.
The album is on Harvest Records, SHVL 804. Matrix side one: SHVL 804 A-2. Matrix side two: SHVL 804 B-2.
Released in 1973. UK pressing. Stereo.
Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system. If I see a mark it will be mentioned however light/small, apart from the usual very light paper scuffs/marks - usually caused by record being removed from the inner sleeve, which appear on nearly all old records and which are only visible under strong light)
Vinyl side 1: fair (a lot of surface scuffs/scrapes/scratches and plays with fair bit of crackle, pop and clicks. Doesn ’t stick, skip or jump though).
Vinyl side 2: fair (a lot of surface scuffs/scrapes/scratches and plays with fair bit of crackle, pop and clicks. Doesn ’t stick, skip or jump though).
Cover (unlaminated, gatefold): good (bad wear to all corners, edges and spine, ringwear, general aging - see photos).
Comes in a white inner sleeve. Does NOT come with the posters or stickers!!
The record plays with no sticks, jumps or skips.
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
