PRESSED IN 1973 ON PRE OIL-CRISIS THICK VIRGIN VINYL!
ONE OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY PRESSINGS OF THIS ALBUM
HAS THE ORIGINAL B2 MATRIX ON SIDE 2 WHICH WAS USED ON THE ORIGINAL SOLID PRISM PRESSINGS, IT SOUNDS PHENOMENAL!
THE VINYL IS VERY GOOD +, it looks nice and sounds the part! It has a great quality of sound but there is a slight level of surface noise, more noticeable in the quieter segments. There's nothing majorly intrusive otherwise, just the occasional tick / pops and the odd scuff / scratch mark. There's a groove pattern in the Side 1 runout that stops my stylus from getting to the center but on other gear it caused my stylus to jump outwards, it shouldn't be a problem but I think it's important to mention. Overall not a minty fresh copy but a strong, well playing and good sounding one! These early pressings are really like no other.
THE ORIGINAL RARE DARK BLUE COVER IS VERY GOOD +, it has some small amounts of wear but overall nothing too bad. It looks nice and feels nice to hold, too! Only some small signs of ring wear and wear to the openings and spine. Compared to a lot of the other covers that turn up, it's rather clean.
IT COMES WITH IT'S TWO ORIGINAL POSTERS WHICH ARE IN A NICE CONDITION, THEY ONLY HAVE THE SMALLEST SIGNS OF WEAR AND THEY ARE THE GLOSSY VARIANTS. UNFORTUNATLEY THERE ARE NO STICKERS/POSTCARDS INCLUDED
THE INNER SLEEVE IS A WHITE POLY-LINED ONE, VERY SIMILAR TO THE ORIGINAL BLACK ONES APART FROM THE COLOUR, IT'S IN A GREAT SHAPE.
