THE VINYL   EX+    CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st UK EXPORT pressing  -Stored and remains in pristine condition everywhere. The best example we have seen.

This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in super condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see an export copy at all.

There are a few light whisp lines, a couple of light hairlines.. and some signs of play as you may expect - There is some static before the first track plays and it dissapears son after -throughout the LP there are the odd static crackles, and a few light tiny dust pops..that may not sound next time round- these are very very quiet and really this whole LP sounds amazing!

 Finding a copy that remain silent is pretty much impossible- and after all this is a CONTRACT pressing..they are so rare, and we have never seen one in this condition

On playing the whole album it remains a joy, and nothing spoiled our listening pleasure..the stereo sounding fat and rich as it should do.. and well..its one of the greatest Lps of all time.. All things considering, it sounded superb. NO JUMPS OR SKIPS

A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THIS CLASSIC LP

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY  COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE THESE PRESSINGS HARDLY EVER.

THE LABELS   MINT   LABELS -Textured special labels with single ring.. note, this is completely different from the standard UK release labels. These copies are so highly prized and gain incredible interest at auction.

THE SLEEVE     EX+

RARE FIRST SLEEVE with ONLY THE RIGHT SIDE OPEN FOR THE LP/INSERTS..Later sleeves were double openers...This is a stunning sleeve, really!! one of the best we have ever seen.

Correct MATT  first issued sleeve  - NO sticker on top right, pale blue credits on the inside and small tiny matrix number on the rear top right (later sleeves were larger)

The edges are all super clean with VIRTUALLY no traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition-Just the lightest tip rub on the spine top/bottom

No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp.

The open edge remains in super sharp condition with just the tiniest of feathering in a couple of tiny spots.

There are a couple of very light thumb creases, nothing to worry over at all.

The round plain spine edge is totally unmarked with no wear!

..only the tiniest of ring press...and inside the gatefold it is pristine, just a little very very feint rub spot on the left side and the odd incidental spot of feint rub on the seam

We cannot add any more than this! it is simply stunning.

THE INNER SLEEVE   MINT-  CORRECT BLACK INNER

Original inner sleeve - again, only early pressings had the black inner, they switched to white very early on.
