PINK FLOYD - DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - UHQR MFSL VINYL LP
Thanks for looking at my listing, which is for one of several records I have on auction right now from a private collection of Japanese and Audiophile pressings. This is the very hard to find, ultra limited UHQR pressing of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" LP, made by Mobile Fidelity. I played this album from start to finish, and it's truly an experience to hear one of these pressings. Even on my minimal setup I could tell the amount of effort that went into the quality of making this LP. I can't imagine what it will sound like on a truly high end system.
The condition of this particular copy of this LP is not perfect, but still very desirable due to it's very limited nature. This is number 2160 out of only 5000 copies made according to the literature that comes with it. The certificate designating the edition number is also signed by the then (still?) president of Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. I would rate the box as being in VG condition. The box has a fair amount of wear around the corners and on both the top and bottom half. You can get a feel for this in the pictures. The actual jacket on the inside has very little wear and is close to Near Mint. The LP was stored inbetween two thick foam pads which remain with the set, and the original thick MFSL sleeve that goes around the LP in the jacket is also included with the set.
The LP itself is very shiny and probably wasn't played too often, but it has several small surface nicks and a couple of small scratches which play through with some light ticking in a few passages. The ticking is most noticeable during the quietest parts of the LP, but when it's loud, you don't notice it too much. I would rate the LP as VG to be safe, but you might consider it to be VG+ or better. I stand by my auctions and if you are truly unhappy with my grading or the LP, I will be glad to accept a return for a refund minus the shipping costs.

I strive to make your purchase arrive to your doorstep like it just came new from the record store. Nearly every LP I sell (unless it's sealed) is vacuumed on a VPI record vacuum and placed in a fresh, polylined inner sleeve. Your records will not arrive filthy and full of dust. All original LP sleeves remain with the jacket. I also ship the record jacket in a brand new resealable outer sleeve. LPs are shipped outside their jacket (but in the inner sleeve) to prevent seam splitting.
I take great care to package LPs. I use thick cardboard mailers designed for mailing records, with adequate filler pads to keep them from shifting around. However, I cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail. I can insure your purchase for an additional charge. All international items sent without insurance will be marked "Gift" with a value of $5-10, unless you purchase insurance, in which case I have to declare the full value and might place you at risk for taxes.
