PINK FLOYD - DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - EARLY PRESSING OF 1973 VINYL ALBUM IN VERY GOOD+ CONDITION
HARVEST RECORDS, CAT NO: SHVL 804
MATRIX NUMBERS: A5/B5
THIS IS A VERY GOOD+ COPY OF THE 1973 CLASSIC ALBUM, DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, BY PINK FLOYD. IT IS HOUSED IN A VERY GOOD GATEFOLD SLEEVE. THE MATRIX NUMBERS INDICATE THIS IS A FIFTH ISSUE, BUT IT IS STILL AN EARLY PRESSING AS THIS ALBUM SOLD SO QUICKLY IN BOTH EUROPE AND US.
VINYL: VERY GOOD+. PLAYS WITHOUT SKIPS, STICKS OR LOUD POPS. THE AUDIO IS RICH AND CLEAR AND THE RECORD SITS FLAT ON THE TURNTABLE. VISUALLY THERE ARE NUMEROUS MARKS AND WISPY HAIRLINES FROM SLEEVE REMOVAL, BUT NOTHING DEEP OR SIGNIFICANT. THERE IS A LITTLE BACKGROUND NOISE BETWEEN TRACKS AND ONE SLIGHT CLICK FOR A FEW REVOLUTIONS AT THE START OF SIDE TWO, BUT IT QUICKLY DISAPPEARS.
SLEEVE: VERY GOOD. UNLAMINATED MATT-FINISH GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH NO CREASING OR WRITING. THE SPINE IS RIGID. THERE ARE SOME LIGHT SCRATCH MARKS ON THE REAR COVER, BUT IT IS OTHERWISE UNDAMAGED.
INSERTS: THERE ARE NO POSTERS OR STICKERS WITH THIS ALBUM.
INNER SLEEVE: ORIGINAL PLAIN WHITE PAPER.
A VERY ACCEPTABLE EARLY COPY OF A PROG CLASSIC WHICH IS RAPIDLY APPRECIATING IN VALUE.
